The Challenge
In the realm of ultra-precision electronics, even the smallest component can dictate the success of an entire device. A client came to us looking for an extremely miniature conductive spring but had highly ambiguous requirements regarding the exact specifications, tolerances, and optimal geometry. They only knew two things: the spring needed to fit into a microscopically small aperture and it required a highly reliable conductive contact area.

The Yisen Solution
Rather than simply waiting for a finalized blueprint, our engineering team took a proactive, consultative approach. We guided the customer through a comprehensive design discovery process, helping them calculate the precise dimensions required for their specific electronic housing. The target was incredibly demanding: a micro-spring utilizing a wire diameter of just 0.04mm. Over several weeks, we engaged in a continuous cycle of rapid prototyping. With each iteration, we refined the pitch, outer diameter, and coil structure, analyzing the physical and electrical performance and providing the client with actionable feedback to improve the design.

The Result
Through persistent trial and error and advanced CNC micro-machining capabilities, we finalized a design that exceeded expectations. The resulting ultra-precision spring perfectly navigated the constraints of the extremely small aperture while providing a stable, maximized conductive contact surface. The client was thrilled with our ability to transform their vague concept into a highly functional, mass-producible micro-component.
